
The Portraits of The Others series investigates how socially constructed labels determine society's behavior toward a group because of race, gender, sex, class, or religion. I use large scale portraits prompting individuals to examine how social interactions dictate the subconscious categorization of social groups that perpetuate inequality and exclusion.
